The Ethiopian Children’s Appeal creates a unique platform to sponsor children suffering from hunger and malnutrition.  The Appeal believes that “hungry stomachs lead to hungry minds” which in turn make it difficult for children to concentrate on their studies. Your sponsorship ensures that these children are supported for a sustainable length of time. In addition, the funds raised go directly to the children with no overhead and administrative costs.

The money raised in the past has helped to support food purchases for the school as well as other charitable activities: expansion of the only school in Ethiopia for autistic children; donation toSave the Children Norway which supports 3,000 orphans in Addis; support to HIV/AIDS orphans living in a home of 16 children run by Artists for Charity; and the Atron project which supports more than 400 street children.
